We are all bullies and we all do it nearly everyday without realizing it.
We bully ourselves with self judgement and others by opinions!
Start making a difference! Stop bullying!
‘Sticks and stones may break my bones but names will never hurt me’
an old saying but it is a lie!
All wars, violence and bullying are caused by words,
personal sensitivity, insecurity and set opinions!
Bullies believe they are entitled to be aggressive,
judgemental and forceful in their actions.
BULLIES
Bullies are insecure, selfish, inconsiderate of others, aggressive, judgemental and have a need to control through force. They need ego boosting by
controlling others and they often need to roam in packs. Individually they often feel helpless, alone, betrayed by the system, angry and confused.
Good people are more considerate and do not have the need to bully but at the moment these young people are standing alone!
If they got together and learnt Genie Power from Drive The Genie Express they would not be bullied or do any bullying.

Walk of Shame
1. Set up support groups that involve good people and document all evidence of intimidation and bullying.
Documentation is a powerful tool. I used documentation and a legal notification letter to the family of a bully who threatened one of my children. I had it
delivered by registered post and kept the parents signature and letter with ‘copy held on file for future legal action.’ Dangerous situation went away!
2. Power Full Ways works towards unleashing positive inner power so I favour working from the positive.
Our society is geared towards negativity but there are groups who try to keep pushing forwards to a more peaceful and sustainable way of
living. So I have include the link ‘Peaceful Schools International’ and I would urge positive students to push for your schools to do this!
3. Always have a back up plan or strategy! I was astounded to discover, when I started a voluntary Bully Out Cub in my area, that
students did not even know what a back up plan was! It means organise alternative places to be and things to do to be out of the path of
bullies. eg. Walking to school - find another route, which is what my husband did when we were in High school. Go to the Library and be in ‘site of a teacher’,
who you know cares. Find teachers who care and form an alliance to help protect them. Yes teachers need help too!
The Bully Out Club, which was based on Power Full Ways and Genie Powers, folded after two months of weekly meetings because after learning AND USING
the techniques they were not being bullied any more so they did not need the club!
4. Do not ‘assume’ that bullying is just a school related problem and note how documentation works in this link:
5. Learn what you can about bullying and techniques to overcome it! Links:
6. Learn about powering up through Power Full Ways - get one book between a group - work on the techniques!
This is a big solution! Drive The Genie Express is full of solutions BUT after working with the Self Esteem Club I have found that it needs people to work
together and to remind each other of the methods and TO JUST DO IT! Do the techniques and remind each other.
7. Realize you are not alone!
8. Reach out for Help - do not give up! - this is a sight not to miss: Reach Out
THE ANSWER IS IN THE SOLUTION!
Funny saying I know but it is true but the answer is in finding solutions and making plans. I do this in relation to all forms of
bullying. Power Full Ways aim is finding empowering solutions and in relation to bullying this means changing the focus from
bullying to plans and solutions. Our army personnel do not go to war to avoid being bullied. They go in with defence plans,
plans of attack and strategies to win against bullies! If you are not prepared for success then you are prepared for failure.
Change the focus! The popular saying ‘see no evil, speak no evil, hear no evil’ focuses on ‘evil’. Change it to ‘see all good, speak all
good, listen to all good’ and the focus is on good.
The answer has always been in the solution. What would have happened if Christopher Columbus had allowed his critics make him
believe the world was flat (the accepted norm back then!). He didn’t he had a vision and stuck to it regardless of the bullies. So did
Einstein (man of the 20th century), Henry Ford (motor cars), Thomas Edison (Electric light bulb, phonograph, which led to record
players) - the list of major contributors is huge and the thing they had in common was their visions, never giving in and never giving
up! They kept focused on their visions and solutions.
WHAT CAN WE DO? STAND UP AND BE COUNTED!
First understand that we are all guilty of bullying as I said at the beginning. We do it
to ourselves by self criticism, the need to ‘look’ a certain way to ‘fit in’, disappointed
criticism of our achievements or we hide our feelings so others cannot see them.
We do it to others when we criticise or turn a blind eye to the needs of good people
being bullied. This is bullying by neglect!
We all need to change, make a concerted effort to pay attention, refuse to dwell on the negatives and work towards creative solutions!
Examples (just a fraction) of bullying, and solutions, in my life. In school at the age of ten a very large boy used to bash my friend and I up a lot until I worked
out a solution. I grabbed his arm as he threw a punch and then whirled him around me and let him go to crash into a huge tree. He stopped! In high school I
was picked on by jealous nasty girls! I told them that I did not have to like them and joined a group of friends who stuck up for each other!
I was teaching art and a nearby head teacher was sexually harassing and bullying me me until I stood up to him! I documented it all and had it ready to
present to his wife, Principal, Education Department and everyone who would listen. I told him what I was prepared to do and he stopped!
WHY IT HAPPENS
Because people have discovered down through history that they can bully other
people and get away with it. It is stopped by people standing up in a united
response! World war 1 and world war 2 are classic examples of large scale bullying
and a unified response to it. Hitler, who caused WW2 was one of the most ruthless
bullies in history but he is not alone! There are more like him!
Quote from Winston Churchill: ‘All that is necessary for evil
to succeed is that good men (or good women) do Nothing.’
This is a picture of our brave ANZAC troops fighting in
France for our freedom in WW1. Have these amazing people,
our relatives, fought and died for our freedom in vain!
THE BIGGER PICTURE OF BULLYING
Bullying is the forcing of ideas, ideals and pressures onto yourself, other people, religions, countries, animals etc. by any means.
It is also a predatory sport undertaken by people who have a vested interest in making other people do what they want or expect.
The imposition of unsolicited attention or environmental changes is bullying and it occurs in schools, workplaces, in the streets, sport, dictatorships and even
governments who do not do what they were elected to do! It occurs in the simplest of situations where a person is inconsiderate of other people’s rights. Most
people have been bullied in many ways over their lifetime. I was bullied on a cruising holiday by elderly people who pushed me aside to look at menus! Why?
Because like all bullies their only concern in the world was their own welfare and needs. And they were the majority! RUDE!
